We will address the use of screens and technology in general, but also during lockdown resulting from the pandemic. We will also look at the experience of the speakers providing practical advice in different situations of use by both children and adolescents as well as adults.

Video calls, video games, movies, TV shows, social networks... Screens have become irreplaceable during the COVID-19 lockdown. They have helped us to stay in contact with our loved ones, allowed us to continue to work or study and have given us an element of distraction. However, we need to find the balance between its use and overuse. Spending more time in front of the screen can cause a number of physical and mental health problems.
In this session, we will discuss the role of screens during lockdown, the clinical consequences of excessive screen use, and offer tips for a healthy digital disconnection during the summer and vacation period.
