La violencia sexual entre adolescentes: retos y políticas públicas

Although most sexual assaults against children and adolescents continue to be perpetrated by adults, the data reveals a clear systemic failure that leads some adolescents to also commit this type of violence. It is crucial to examine why this occurs and what is failing in order to implement public policies aimed at eradicating sexual violence by teaching and reinforcing respect, consent, and the values that should govern relationships among adolescents. In this document, the Children's Platform compiles key data on sexual violence among adolescents, current shortcomings in public policies, and proposals for its eradication.
