Report that is part of the Privilegi Zero Radar campaign, of the Justícia i Pau Barcelona entity.   This work focuses on a situation that affects many of the incarcerated people in Catalonia: as reflected in the study, most of them have significant mental health problems; from anxiety and depression, through drug or alcohol addictions, to serious mental disorders.

The study examines the state of mental health in Catalan prisons, the living conditions and the medical and prison treatment received by people with mental disorders.

Its main purpose is to encourage reflection on the need for adequate care for people with mental health problems, respectful of their human dignity and that promotes their well-being and development.
