Salud Mental y Migraciones

The report analyzes the mental health challenges faced by migrants and internally displaced persons . It covers aspects such as the impact of the migration process, extreme migration grief (Ulysses Syndrome), the mental health of women and LGBTI+ migrants, as well as that of children, adolescents, and young people who have left care. Living conditions in reception centers and the situation of asylum seekers are also examined. Risk factors, barriers to accessing healthcare, and proposals for improving care from an intercultural and community-based perspective are presented. The report highlights the importance of strengthening professional training and promoting strategies that guarantee inclusive and equitable care.
