Quality standards for mental health services for children and young people
Quality standards for child and adolescent mental health services were developed in response to a request from the WHO Pan-European Coalition for Mental Health and WHO Member States for a standardized approach to assessing, measuring, and improving the quality of community/outpatient child and adolescent mental health care across the WHO European Region. The standards outline an ambitious yet achievable definition of high-quality care and provide a basis for assessing and identifying areas for improvement in the quality of specialized child and adolescent mental health services. Implementing the quality standards across the WHO European Region will require joint learning, commitment, and action from all key stakeholders.
