Monografía cannabis 2025: consumo y consecuencias

This report offers a comprehensive analysis of cannabis use in Spain, its health and social consequences, and the evolution of its regulation. Using data from national surveys (ESTUDES, EDADES, ESDIP) and official information systems, it demonstrates a sustained increase in consumption among adolescents, the general population, and the working population, as well as a rise in treatment admissions, hospital emergency room visits, and related hospitalizations. The report also addresses the impact of synthetic cannabinoids, their growing presence in edibles, and the associated risks. It highlights the need for intersectoral policies based on scientific evidence, encompassing prevention, regulation, healthcare, and market control. This monograph is positioned as a key tool for professionals, institutions, and policymakers in the fight against addiction and the promotion of public health.
