Inteligencia artificial y salud mental
This report critically analyzes the opportunities, risks, and ethical challenges of using artificial intelligence (AI) in mental health care. While AI promises to improve access, personalize treatments, and support research, it also poses significant risks, such as the depersonalization of care, surveillance, algorithmic discrimination, and the erosion of privacy. The study underscores the need for regulation focused on human rights, transparency, and the active participation of people with lived experience of mental health issues. It proposes concrete recommendations for policymakers and civil society, aiming to ensure that AI truly benefits those who need it most, without exacerbating existing inequalities.
