Guide to Social Assistance and Services for Families

The Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030 publishes a new edition of this guide whose objective is to provide updated information to people with family responsibilities on the benefits and services available to them within the scope of the General State Administration.

The report mainly covers the aid established in the areas of social security, employment, taxation, social services, education, housing, among others, including the modifications approved the previous year in relation to leave for birth and childcare, in order to facilitate work-life balance and shared family and work responsibility, or the implementation of the Minimum Living Income, a benefit aimed at preventing the risk of poverty and social exclusion for people who live alone or are part of a cohabitation unit and lack basic economic resources to cover their basic needs, as well as the rollout of the Child Support Supplement (CAPI); which has been complemented by the expansion of the circumstances that entitle the holder to the maternity deduction of 100 euros per month in the Personal Income Tax for each daughter.
