A Guide for Mental Health Mutual Support Groups in the First Person

Support tool for entities, social movements or collectives that want to start or strengthen a Mutual Aid Group (MAG), aimed at people with psychological suffering and/or mental diversity.

The Guide explains the Mutual Aid Groups model developed through the lessons learned from training moderators of mutual aid groups in the Activa't per la Salut Mental project, and the entities that have made it possible.

This guide is the result of the Activa't per la Salut Mental project, by the Generalitat of Catalonia, Salut Mental Catalunya and the Veus Federation, implemented within the framework of the Comprehensive Plan for Mental Health and Addictions.

The document explains what a Mutual Aid Group is, how they work, the different stages in their operation, the management of participants and the content.
