Asociación Española para el Estudio de los Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria (AEETCA)

This association aims to bring together professionals from various disciplines, both basic and clinical, who contribute their experience and studies to the understanding and treatment of eating disorders; to organize conferences; to represent Spain before the European Council on Eating Disorders and other organizations and meetings specifically focused on these issues; to promote training courses and postgraduate programs that contribute to training professionals adequately prepared for the treatment of eating disorders; to participate in primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention programs; to collaborate in disseminating information to the public about eating disorders; to collaborate with associations of patients and families affected by eating disorders; to create and maintain a database and bibliographic collection of the most relevant publications from the international scientific community; to collaborate with health and educational authorities in the development of eating disorder programs; and to develop a Practical Guide for the Care of Eating Disorders.
