American Convention on Human Rights

The American Convention on Human Rights (Pact of San José, Costa Rica, November 22, 1969) highlights that within a state of law in which democratic institutions are governed, the guarantee of human rights is based on the establishment of basic conditions necessary for their sustenance (food, health, freedom of organization, political participation, among others).
