Advance care planning in mental health: A support guide for professionals and users of mental health services

This guide to advance care planning in mental health, developed by the Human Rights and Mental Health group of the Comprehensive Mental Health Plan of Andalusia, was published in 2015, but was revised in 2020 to offer more practical and clear information to facilitate the work of professionals in supporting users to express their decisions in advance.

This is a tool to know, in advance, the needs and preferences in care that would serve to guarantee the right to make decisions by people in situations in which it is determined that they have limited capacity to decide.
