Suicide prevention

Where can you go to do activities and not be at home all day?

One of the most important protective factors against suicide is creating a supportive social environment for the individual. We must encourage their involvement in social activities and even pursue their personal interests and hobbies. Primary care social workers are usually familiar with community resources and can provide information. Local councils often promote many community activities, and other organizations, such as neighborhood associations or religious congregations, often offer spaces for socialization.
