Psychosis
What is nonspecific psychosis?
We speak of unspecified psychotic disorder when the affected person presents symptoms characteristic of psychotic disorders that cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning, but does not meet all the criteria for any of the established diagnostic categories. This term is also used in situations where there is insufficient information to make a more specific diagnosis.
