Some recommendations to prevent relapses are:
- Take antipsychotic medication regularly.
- Learn to reduce and manage stress. It is important to ask your healthcare team for help in developing a personalized plan.
- Spend more time and interact with people you feel comfortable and happy with.
- Avoid consuming drugs such as cannabis, ecstasy, LSD, etc.
- Be active. Do physical exercise and activities that are enjoyable and give you meaning.
- Develop a relapse prevention plan. Ask the healthcare team to help you do it.
