What can I do to help myself?
Some recommendations to help you feel better are:
- Share your feelings. Confide in someone close to you and explain how you feel. Ask for help.
- Exercise. It will help you stay in shape and sleep better.
- Participate in household chores, you'll feel useful.
- Improve your diet.
- Don't use drugs.
- If you think you know what is causing your depression, it may be helpful to write down the problem and then think about possible solutions.
- Don't lose hope. Remember that this is a very common experience and you will recover from it.
