What can I do to help myself?

Some recommendations to help you feel better are:

  • Share your feelings. Confide in someone close to you and explain how you feel. Ask for help.
  • Exercise. It will help you stay in shape and sleep better.
  • Participate in household chores, you'll feel useful.
  • Improve your diet.
  • Don't use drugs.
  • If you think you know what is causing your depression, it may be helpful to write down the problem and then think about possible solutions.
  • Don't lose hope. Remember that this is a very common experience and you will recover from it.
