I was diagnosed 20 years ago and I'm in therapy, but nothing has helped me control my relationships. Is it possible to overcome this difficulty? What actually works?

There has most likely been progress with the therapy you've been doing, although it's always difficult to perceive it yourself while you're immersed in the process. It would be good if you could discuss this with your therapist. Interpersonal relationships are complex for everyone. If we add difficulties regulating emotions, impulsivity, and low frustration tolerance, they can quickly become even more complicated, leading to conflicts and feelings of misunderstanding. This can create even greater difficulties in regulating emotions. Working on this is a process that takes time. Don't give up on your therapeutic journey.
