Through the knowledge of international experts, we will be able to learn about the latest studies on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of the population and what strategies are being developed in different countries.
If you are a health professional, if you are working in health management, or are a social or educational professional and if you are generally interested in the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of the population
After half a year of living with the COVID-19 pandemic, different international studies begin to emerge on the impact both the lockdown and the social and economic consequences are having on mental health of the population and especially on the most vulnerable groups.
Different international organisations such as the WHO and the UN warned in May about the severity of this impact and made recommendations for priority lines of actions in mental health to respond to the impact of the pandemic.
We will discuss, from the perspective of experts from different countries, what actions governments and institutions should prioritise and what challenges they pose to human care systems, both in health and social fields.
