Visualising Mental Health is still Necessary
Different voices from the healthcare sector, mental heal activism, and the world of communication share their thoughts on the need to raise awareness for mental health
World days aim to raise awareness of social or health issues among the general public. It is a way of drawing the media's attention to those problems or issues that remain unsolved.
The stigma surrounding mental health is one of these unresolved issues. It is, therefore, necessary to talk about mental health on this day and every day in order to have more knowledge and to work properly on prevention.
We have gathered different opinions on the need of making mental health visible from the view of healthcare professionals, mental health activists, and the world of communication.
