We will learn from our researchers about three studies that have been conducted on the impact of the pandemic on the mental health of citizens
You are professionals in the care and social field. Of interest to the general public.
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world of mental health research had to react quickly in order to collect data on the impact of very stressful and new situations on society as well as the capacity to adapt. Losses of loved ones in extreme conditions, isolation, loneliness, or job loss are very powerful stressors. In recent months, a multitude of studies has been published worldwide on the impact of the pandemic and the social and economic impact on the mental health of the population. As well as in especially vulnerable groups such as professionals who have been and are at the forefront of COVID-19, older people, people with mental health disorders, children and adolescents, or women who suffer from violence, just to name a few.
The professionals and research centers have made a huge effort in recent months to make these studies available in record time. Studies that provide proven information to decide priorities in terms of response to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed at improving and maintaining the emotional well-being of people.
In this digital meeting, we will have the opportunity to learn about the preliminary results of some of these studies.
