She has been Vice Dean of Sociology at Carlos III University.

He has been a member of the coordinating committee of the European Research Network 37 (Urban Sociology) of the European Sociological Association (ESA).

She has been a visiting professor at the University of Glasgow (Urban Studies, School of Social and Political Science); at the University of Jyväskyla (Finland), Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy; and at the University of Bari (Italy), Department of Political Science.

She is the author of numerous publications in indexed journals and volumes, both national and international.
