Screens, whether it's a mobile phone, a computer or a television, take up a very important part of our time every day. Technology makes us enjoy ourselves and makes our work easier, but it also often distances us from our surroundings, from the things that really matter to us and from the people we love. Summer is a good opportunity to disconnect from screens and connect with ourselves , to see that we can live and have fun in other ways.

When the summer months have passed, we will surely remember the places we have visited, the people we have met, the laughter, the walks and the situations we have experienced, but not the video games we have played, the thousands of images we have seen on screens or the messages sent and received.

  • Connect with nature and do outdoor activities , excursions, walks or simply a day at the beach. Breathe the fresh air and enjoy the surroundings.
  • Make a list of common interests to share with your family or those closest to you.
  • Spend time with the people you love. Value human connection , personal relationships, and good conversations.
  • Take advantage of the summer festivals to participate in local activities and meet new people.
  • Do creative activities that stimulate your imagination: drawing, sewing, writing...
  • Discover the corners of your town or city that you didn't know about.
  • Make time to read . You can start with those books that you have been putting aside throughout the year or ask your friends to recommend some interesting books.
  • Enjoy doing nothing . Meditate, think, or simply be silent. These moments of calm will allow you to connect with yourself and release accumulated stress.
  • Spend time doing activities alone ; it will help you connect with your feelings and emotions.
  • Discover new hobbies and dare to take a cooking or dance workshop, or learn to play an instrument.
  • Set a screen time schedule . You don't have to give up your devices completely, but you can set a schedule and limit the time you spend in front of a screen. You can definitely achieve the challenge!
